A new dimension for Education

There are numerous challenges Mozambique has to surpass in its development as a nation. The most relevant factor determining its position in the global economy and development is the ability and the mobilization of its people.

The Ministry of Education, through a participatory process, conceived the Technological Plan for Education (TPE) of Mozambique to create an integrated strategic vision for the introduction of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the Education System and to align the main national and international entities of the public and private sectors around a common vision and purpose.

With the Technological Plan for Education we are acting now on a strategic level to reach short, medium and long term results on an educational, social and economic level.

The launch of the Plan is scheduled to 30 of November in Maputo, an event that will feature the participation of His Excellency the Minister of Education, as well as major national and international entities that will be part of the ecosystem of the PTE.
